Why?

Why this blog right now?

The answer is very simple, because we haven't published any software until today... to be honest, we haven't yet developed any software at all.
I had been coding just for the pleasure of coding and I did it until my Amiga 500 died, but a couple of years ago I came back to my ancient passion for two reasons:
1) I discovered Xcode and the iOS SDK.
2) I met a real hero.

Lo Hobbra is now collaborating with true artists and academics to bring to the public a nice and important app for iOS.

Stay tuned!

Good old times

Lo Hobbra software house was born back in the early '80 from the instable minds of two kids, Mauro (me) and Roberto.
We were 11 years old and played a lot with our C64, not only with the billions of games already available (memorable the moment our great friend Fagio reached the final stage of Pitfall 2), but also with an assembler that we found I don't remember were... if "JMP $C000" say something to you, you know what I mean...

We made this sprite...

... and we named it "Hobbra", he was the protagonist of our games and fantasies.

to be continued... maybe...
